John Schott & Matt Quinn, Managing Partners

EPIC has been a 3-time winner of the St. Louis Regional Technology Top 50 and 4-time winner of Deloit and Touche "Fastest Growing Technology Companies"

In 1995, John Schott and Matt Quinn left large corporations to create EPIC Systems, a company devoted to providing automation for manufacturing plants. EPIC, which stands for Electrical, Process, Instrumentation & Control, quickly expanded by applying fundamental engineering principles to a wide variety of industries. Over the years, the company has earned a solid reputation in the industry and has been a three-time winner of the St. Louis Commerce Magazine Top 50 for exhibiting continued growth in the technology industry. In 2007 EPIC ranked 5th in the Top 5000 Companies by Metro Region from Inc 500.
As the company grew, formal divisions were created so that EPIC engineers could focus on specialized technologies and industries, providing more value to clients.
