Depending on your project’s scope and existing field conditions, we will utilize our expertise in modular construction wherever possible because of the many benefits that it has to offer including.  EPIC Design / Build has a predisposition to modular design and construction and our front end engineering is optimized to implement it. 

 

Cost

Modularized processes are 15-25% less costly than the stick-built alternative due to the high price and lower productivity of field labor.

 

Safety

Operations can be controlled unlike a field environment which often has a great deal of safety exposure and risk. The result is decreased onsite OSHA exposure hours.

 

Timing

Modular construction allows for parallel working paths. For example, a process skid can be built at the same time that a tank farm is being expanded.  The controlled environment used in modular construction is also less susceptible to labor issues, rainouts, and other conflicts allowing for more scheduling flexibility.

Future Relocation Flexibility
